Youth Ministries
Our youth are active participants at the Masses of St. Leo! Youth-led liturgies occur monthly on a rotating basis at the weekend Masses. Youth from grades 6 to 12 are invited to participate in Mass as acolytes, Eucharistic ministers, lectors and ushers. We also invite youth to serve in the music ministry as cantor, choir members or instrumentalists. Rehearsals occur the Saturday prior to the liturgy.
Youth Music Ministry
Students are encouraged to lead the music at the monthly Youth Ministry Liturgies from October through May. Both high school singers and instrumentalists wishing to learn how to lead the prayer of the community through music, and adult mentors are welcome. The rehearsal schedule is determined as needed. Youth Choir
Students in grades 3 through 12 help lead the assembly in song as part of an intergenerational choir for special occasions or liturgies. The rehearsal schedule is determined as needed.
